BARTLEBY CLUB – In Your Arms

Bartleby Club is a new project created by Ángel J. Navarro (DJ Ángel Pop, Iluminados, Vacaciones, The Yellow Melodies) and Miguel A. Hernández. Their debut 7″ single for Clifford Records is inspired by various styles of indie pop with an 80’s electronic touch, yet in a very much up-to-date context; a task that Bartleby Club fulfills successfully. In «In your arms» you get a glimpse of epic style à la Arcade Fire, whereas in «I cry» you’ll find a streak of a somewhat romantic, less dark Depeche Mode. This said, though Bartleby Club is definitely not what it appears to be at the first look.
